Teaching or tutoring experience

During my last few years of high school, I decided to try tutor other local students for extra money, as well as volunteering at my school to tutor fellow students. Over this time I developed an understanding of the minds of others and found myself fascinated with how different people learnt. It was frustrating at times, but with those students who were willing to put in the effort, we managed to increase that mark by 10-20% together. I enjoy tutoring high school and university students.

My summary

I am currently a final year student at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, studying towards a Bachelors of Science majoring in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, with some Physical and Statistical Science. I love numbers, their character and their accuracy. Describing the world with them is something I’ve always felt enjoyment in. In high school, my subjects were physics, math, computer applications technology and engineering graphics and design. Very numerical. This is who I am, on the academic side, and I live and breathe this way.
